Current program amount

For eligible work completed on or after November 12, 2025, the City offers up to 80% of invoiced cost to a maximum of $1,600 per device, for up to two backwater valves.

The City requires a building permit and inspection for backwater-valve installation. The property, contractor, invoices and other program conditions must satisfy the official requirements.
